This introductory course on buying your first home will provide you with insight on various aspects of being a home owner. In this course we look at both the initial and carrying costs to consider when owning a home. We discuss common terms used in home ownership, as well as how the home buyers’ plan works. For those saving for a down payment, we look at ways to save faster and how to improve your credit score before buying. We also discuss the dos and don’ts of buying a home, and what to consider when choosing a mortgage broker.
