A fun-filled, 45-minute class begins with a reading of “Rock, Brock and the Savings Shock” by Sheila Bair. This is followed by a craft-based activity and discussion on personal savings goals. Each Grade 4 student will take home a handmade piggy bank and the book is donated to the school library for future use by students and teachers.
