In the Community
As a not-for-profit organization in Alberta, Money Mentors can relate to the objectives of other social and human agencies in the province. Each year, Money Mentors contributes to the development of such agencies by providing resources, tools and financial support to enable their respective growths.
As Albertans serving Albertans, we know there are many organizations who are also providing the basic needs to thousands of Albertans. Below are non-profit organizations we have supported and continue to support in many communities across the province.

We are proud to have once again supported the 2018 Flexxaire Parkinson Step 'n Stride™ in Calgary and Edmonton on Saturday, September 8th, 2018. The funds raised at the Walk are vital to the support, services, education and research that make every day better for those with Parkinson disease and the people who care for them.
Money Mentors is proud to support YMCA of Northern Alberta's Leader-in-Training (LIT) program in 2018-2019. LIT is a ten-month leadership program for youths in Grades 7-12, where participants gain valuable experience and make a positive impact on the local community through volunteering.
In December of 2015, Money Mentors made a donation to Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids, which meant 4000 students would be fed lunch. Staff also volunteered their time in preparing over 1000 sandwiches and snacks for the program. We have since volunteered every year since 2016.
In October 2015, 2016, and most recently 2017, Money Mentors sponsored the Organizational Diversity award at the 8th annual Immigrant Achievement Awards (IAA) hosted by the Lethbridge Family Services. Lethbridge Family Services accepts nominations identifying immigrants, refugees and organizations that have made significant contributions to the Lethbridge community by sharing their talents, skills and dedication.
In March of 2016, Money Mentors began The Money Mentors Fund in which a donation was made to KidSport. This fund was implemented to help Syrian refugees integrate into the sports organizations in their new communities. So ALL Kids Can Play!
