Youth Presenter - Red Deer (Post-Secondary Student)

We are now recruiting for a part-time/casual Youth Presenter position based in Red Deer to join our Financial Literacy team. The Youth Presenter must be currently enrolled in post-secondary studies (preferably second year) and is responsible for delivering presentations to K-12 students on money management in fun, interactive and engaging ways. Training will be provided. Hours are flexible and we are willing to work around your academic schedule.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver 45 minute to 1.5-hour presentation to students in various schools across the city and
    surrounding areas/communities
  • All preparation, including supply collection from a Money Mentors’ office
  • Assist in evaluating and suggesting improvements for future presentations
  • Administrative duties


  • The ideal candidate is a current second-year post-secondary student with daytime availability (8 AM – 4 PM)
  • Positive, outgoing, responsible, and self-motivated individual
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle required
  • Possess strong presentation skills and public speaking experience
  • Basic understanding of finances and money management, including budgeting
  • Previous experience working with youth in a leadership capacity is an asset
  • Must complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
