The good news in Alberta is that business confidence is growing and overall economic conditions continue to show signs of improvement. Job losses appear to have bottomed out and we are seeing a steady improvement in the quality of available jobs. Nevertheless, challenges remain.
Who is our average client?
With the Orderly Payment of Debts (OPD) program, Money Mentors has assisted Albertans from all walks of life.
In 2017, we continued to honour this mission, helping more individuals regain financial freedom throughout seven branches in Alberta.

How did they hear about us?
In 2017, Money Mentors school programming continued to expand as we added extension activities to accompany the presentations for each grade from kindergarten to Grade 12 well as youth in the community.
We also launched our first online course "Managing Money & Understanding Credit" for high school students in preparation of their next steps in life.
From k-12 to Youth in the community, our Financial Literacy team reached over 1000 classes across Alberta.
The highest age group being Grade 12 students at a whopping 14,615 who now know about financial literacy
